Bidet Buddy Review
The typical bidet is a separate standalone unit next to a toilet, Bidet Buddy offers a bidet experience with your existing commode. You simply attach it to your toilet and use the included hose to run the unit from water pressure.
If you have never used a bidet, or aren’t sure if you’d like to own one, this may be a relatively inexpensive way to try it out. Bidet Buddy installs quickly and relatively easily, and provides an experience comparable to the real thing.
The inclusion of a retractable sprayer may seem like a small point, unless you’ve used a bidet in the past. This is a vital feature, and we’re glad to see it included in this product.
Overall, Bidet Buddy does a fine job of living up to its advertising promises. It cleans as one would expect, and is easy to use. Construction seems to be of acceptable quality, and installation is not difficult.
The inclusion of a motion-activated LED light appears to be a feature meant to compete with other toilet bowl lights, such as Bowl Light, which have been seen advertising on TV in recent months.
Despite all of its merits, Bidet Buddy isn’t the only game in town. Indeed, there are a number of quality bidet attachments to be found from about $25-$40 online, many of which are highly rated and cost less to ship.
Our researchers feel that Bidet Buddy will garner a rating around 3.8 after consumer reviews begin to trickle in. It is still a new product as of this writing, and it isn’t clear if this will ever make its way onto store shelves.
