Thigh Lite Review

Thigh Lite can best be described as a light-up mini exercise ball. The color it displays will change as you exert more pressure on it. Thus, the idea is to give you a visual representation of how efficient your reps are as you exercise.

The use of exercise balls is certainly not a new concept, and Thigh Lite attempts to add a new feature to the standard exercise ball with its three levels of resistance which can be observed visually.

How beneficial is such a light for long-term use? That of course will be determined by each individual. The unintended humorous look and feel of the television commercial, however, could be problematic for Thigh Lite.

There are those who like to enjoy the latest fitness gadgets, at least until the novelty wears off. If you are in that category, Thigh Lite may be just the item for you. Likewise, if you are focusing on that area of your body and want a visual cue regarding the quality of your reps, this could also be a good fit.

Long term, Thigh Lite seems destined to appear in humorous As Seen on TV highlight reels alongside such infamous products as Shake Weight or Perfect Polly – whether it works or not.

To its credit, there do not appear to be other products which feature a light-up coded system for exercise balls. If the color-coding is not a compelling feature for you, there are numerous balls that don’t light up and are priced competitively. Take a look at some of the more popular exercise balls, which range from about $7 – $25.
