Amazon Gadget Reviews: Mist ‘N Sip, Jonah Toothpick Dispenser, and Chateau Spill Red Wine Stain Remover

Welcome back, everybody! Today I’m testing out three random gadgets I found on Amazon. These items caught my eye for their unique features, and I wanted to see if they really live up to the hype. Let’s see how they work in today’s review.

Where to Purchase

Below are links where you can buy the items covered in this review:

Mist ‘N Sip

Price: $12.99 | Rating: 4.4 stars from almost 8,000 reviews (As of April 2025)

Mist ‘N Sip is a 2-in-1 misting bottle that’s perfect for being outdoors on warm days. This gadget lets you drink water and spray a refreshing mist in your face, making it ideal for outdoor activities. The bottle has a 20 oz capacity and features a no-leak pull-top spout. It also comes with a handle for easy carrying and a double-wall insulated design to keep water cold. It’s available in several sports-related themes. I chose the basketball themed bottle.

The majority of people who bought it liked how convenient it was for cooling down, especially during outdoor workouts. However, some complained that it’s a hassle to clean, and others didn’t care for the design. Also, it’s not dishwasher safe, which is something I had to double-check after reading the tiny instructions.

Here’s my experience with the Mist ‘N Sip:

  • The mist is very light, which is great to avoid soaking yourself, but if it’s too hot and dry, you’ll need to spray it a lot.
  • The design is decent, though it lacks a clip to attach it to your backpack, which is a little inconvenient for on-the-go use.
  • Overall, the misting feature works but feels a bit gimmicky. It’s not the most practical feature, but it’s still a fun way to cool off during those summer days.

In the end, I think I’ll keep this in my car for occasional use when I need a quick mist to cool off. One potential drawback is that it’s for water only – as you wouldn’t want to spray a sports drink all over your face!

Jonah Toothpick Dispenser

Price: $14.99 | Rating: 4.6 stars from over 800 reviews (As of April 2025)

This Jonah Toothpick Dispenser combines whimsy with functionality. It’s a fun and decorative way to store your toothpicks.

While the dispenser looks cute and can be a nice display piece, it doesn’t work perfectly. Sometimes, when you shake it, more than one toothpick comes out, leading to a bit of a jam. The dispenser is made of cheap plastic, and it feels flimsy compared to other toothpick dispensers I’ve tried. It works, but I would prefer something with a bit more consistency in dispensing just one toothpick at a time. It’s also not easy to use one-handed.

Overall, this might be perfect if you’re looking for something fun and quirky to display, but if you’re after the best toothpick dispenser in terms of functionality, you might want to keep looking.

Chateau Spill Red Wine Stain Remover

Price: $7.50 for 4 oz | Rating: 4.5 stars from over 2600 reviews (As of April 2025)

Red wine spills are inevitable, but with the Chateau Spill Red Wine Stain Remover, you can save your clothes (and carpet). I tested it on a white t-shirt and some carpet after spilling Merlot on both. This product claims to work on both fresh and old stains, and reviews online tend to back up that claim.

I ran two tests: immediate clean up and letting stains set for 24 hours. I used a scrap of carpet and a cut up t-shirt for each test. For my “immediate” test, the wine stain on my shirt disappeared almost completely, and the carpet came out unscathed as well. The scent isn’t the most pleasant, but it’s not unbearable either, and it works effectively. For my 24 hour test, the carpet cleaned up completely and shirt only left behind a barely-perceptible hint of discoloration that was too faint to even be captured by my camera.

If you’re prone to red wine mishaps, I recommend keeping a bottle of Chateau Spill on hand. It’s a solid stain remover for wine lovers.

Conclusion

In the end, these three gadgets generally do what they claim. The Mist ‘N Sip is a cool option for outdoor activities, the Jonah Toothpick Dispenser is more of a cute display piece than a reliable dispenser, and the Chateau Spill Red Wine Stain Remover is ideal to keep on hand for anyone who enjoys a glass of red wine.
