Where to Buy & Cost

I first spotted Atomic Beam Glove at a local Walmart in August 2017, where I purchased Atomic Beam Glove for $20. As of 2024, its availability has been spotty on Amazon, so you may want to look into a popular (and cheaper) alternative such as this listing.

About Atomic Beam Glove

Atomic Beam Glove is an LED glove that puts two LED lights in your hand as you work. The official product website was atomicbeamglove.com, which was registered in September 2016. The screen shot below was taken of the product website in January 2017. By 2020 the website was no longer active and remains inactive as of this 2023 update.

Atomic Beam Glove Review

The Atomic Beam brand that has marked such items as a flashlight, lantern, and headlight over the past year, and is back with its newest offering: a lighted glove.

The design of Atomic Beam Glove is simple: a fingerless glove that includes LED lights on the index finger and thumb. This design is said to allow you to work hands-free while still illuminating your work area.

The “pros” of Atomic Beam Glove are that it does actually work about as advertised. If you are working in an area where you need additional light, this will come in quite handy. The light coming from your hand will be close to your workspace, and more than sufficient to illuminate your area. If you have never used a lighted glove before, you will probably be surprised how useful such an item can be.

I did find two potential problems with Atomic Beam Glove. The first is that the button is rather hard to distinguish from the rest of the material, meaning it sits flush with the surrounding area and may be hard to find. The other problem is that the lights tend to jump around as you use your hands, such as in the case of a screwdriver. When writing, your fingers and the angle of the lights tend to keep the tip of your pen or pencil in the dark. It also doesn’t actually function as a glove.

Perhaps the biggest “con” may be that you can readily find nearly identical gloves online for as little as $5.

Overall, those who use Atomic Beam Glove will probably find it to be quite handy in most situations, although I don’t find it to be superior to its cousin, the Atomic Beam Headlight. It has been my experience that products released under the Atomic Beam brand have been well-made. At $10 each (when you factor in the double offer), these are priced competitively against similar competitors. I’d still probably get it in stores for $20 in order to avoid shipping costs and delays. Be sure to watch my video review of Atomic Beam Glove below.

Alternatives

Although you may have never seen a design quite like Atomic Beam Glove, you may be surprised to find numerous products that sports a nearly identical design. Compare the design to this $5 LED outdoor fishing glove. The similarities seem too close to be purely coincidental.
