Best of 2024

Today I’m happy to present my 8th annual Best of the Year countdown in which I take a look back at the nearly 200 products I reviewed in 2024, and offer my picks for the best of the bunch. As always, the items on this countdown may not be new products in 2024, but they were new to me this year. Products on this list came from Amazon, Shark Tank, As Seen on TV, and more.

Below is a list of all of the products in my countdown (12 total if you count my two Honorable Mentions). The list is sorted alphabetically so you can find the products you’d like. I update these links fairly regularly.

Top 10 Best Products of 2024

10. Ocoopa Mag Twins

If you’ve ever battled icy fingers, you’ll know why testing hand warmers hit close to home for me. Raynaud’s has my hands freezing even when it’s not very cold outside. After putting four popular contenders to the test, the Ocoopa Mag Twins stood out as my top pick. These aren’t your average hand warmers; their curved design cradles your fingers in soothing warmth, not just your palms like most competitors. Plus, they’re versatile—you can use them together or separately for double the heat. And as an added bonus, each “twin” moonlights as a 5000 mAh power bank. Warm hands and extra battery life? Yes, please!

9. Sensarte Pan

Over the years, I’ve tested more fry pans than I can count: Red Copper, HexClad, Always Pan, Blue Diamond, you name it. So when I saw the Sensarte Pan topping Amazon’s charts for under $20, I had to see if it lived up to the hype, and to my surprise it delivered the goods. This pan aced about every test I threw at it: eggs, grilled cheese, pancakes, steak, even bean dip. Cleanup was also a breeze. It’s been a kitchen mainstay ever since. While the price can fluctuate, you can still snag this pan for under $20 if you keep an eye on it. Budget-friendly and high-performing? Sign me up.

Here’s where you can purchase this for yourself.

8. Crayola Magic Light Brush

When I first spotted this product on Amazon, I’ll admit that I was skeptical. Mess-free paint? How does that even work? As it turns out, it’s not really paint at all. It’s more like invisible ink that only shows up on special acidic paper. Naturally, I had to test the “mess-free” claim, so I tried it on my hands and my table… and nothing, not a speck of color anywhere. True to its promise, this toy delivers a clean and creative experience that parents will love as much as kids. No wonder it’s been one of Amazon’s hottest toys two years running – it’s a stroke of genius!

7. Supvan Label Maker

In all my years of doing product reviews, a label maker had never made it to my desk until this year. After a viewer asked if the Supvan Bluetooth Label Maker was any good, I decided to give it a whirl, and it exceeded all expectations. Controlled via smartphone app, this little gadget lets you customize labels, add graphics, and even print (low-res) photos on the label. You can squeeze in up to two lines per label, making it surprisingly versatile. It’s one of those products I didn’t know I needed, but since testing it, I’ve been labeling everything in sight!

Here’s where you can buy this product.

6. KwicKan

At first glance, the KwicKan might look like a giant, wobbly piece of plastic – and, well, it is – but it’s also much more than that. This clever gadget transforms a standard garbage bag into a sturdy, portable “trash can” in seconds. Just fold it, grip the cut-out handles, slide it into the bag, and release—it’s that simple. Perfect for leaves, weeds, or whatever yard waste you’re tackling, the KwicKan also keeps your bag protected from rips and tears. For me, it’s been a big help for backyard cleanup, blowing away the hassle of dealing with floppy bags or bulky trash cans.

5. AirFort

As a kid, building forts was the ultimate adventure, though it usually meant a precarious combo of blankets and couch cushions that took forever to set up and left a big mess behind. Plus, those forts were always sweltering inside. Enter the AirFort, a modern-day solution that takes all the hassle (and heat) out of fort-building. Straight out of the box, it attaches to a square box fan with a couple of Velcro straps, and voilà—your fort inflates to fill the room in seconds. The best part? The fan keeps the fort cool and breezy, so no more stuffy blanket caves. After my review, I passed it on to a family with three kids, and they still rave about how much fun they’re having with it. It’s a win for fort lovers of all ages!

4. Presto Stuffler

Who’s ready for stuffed waffles? The Presto Stuffler takes waffle-making to a whole new level, letting you create mouthwatering stuffed creations right at home. It looks like a regular waffle maker, but its deeper design is where the magic happens. Just pour in a layer of batter, add your favorite filling, top it with more batter, and let it work its magic. I whipped up chicken & waffles, pizza waffles, and even got creative with dessert combos. Fun, functional, and downright delicious, it’s no wonder this gadget became a viral sensation in 2024!

3. Dezin Electric Pot

Next on my countdown is a pot that breaks free from the kitchen entirely. The Dezin Electric Hot Pot lets you cook anywhere there’s an outlet, no stove required. This versatile gadget handled everything I threw at it: boiling water, grilled cheese, eggs, and even a steak. After my review, I passed it on to someone renting a room with limited kitchen access, and they still rave about how beneficial it has been. Months later, they’re still using it daily, and it’s holding up like a champ. While it’s not something I’d use regularly, it’s easy to see how this portable powerhouse could be a lifesaver for many.

Here’s where you can pick this up for yourself.

2. Fireplace Wax Melt Warmer

In all my years of reviews, I’d never tested a wax melt warmer – until 2024, when I tried two. One of them, however, quickly became a personal favorite and an unexpected guilty pleasure. This wax melt warmer features a realistic 3D fireplace effect and a handy timer that runs from 2 to 8 hours, or you can let it glow indefinitely. Since my review, I’ve used it daily, and every guest who’s stepped into my home has complimented it. Bonus points: it’s a safer alternative to candles, with no open flame to worry about. At under $20, this is a cozy, stylish, and affordable addition to any home.

1. Ninja Crispi

It’s no shocker to see yet another Ninja product taking the crown in my Best of the Year countdown. This marks the third time in eight years the brand has claimed the top spot. Out of nearly 200 products I reviewed in 2024, the Ninja Crispi stood out as a clear winner. This portable air fryer features two containers that seamlessly move from fridge to air fryer to table, eliminating the bulk and hassle of transferring food. Ninja continues to impress with superior design and functionality, and the Crispi is, hands down, the best air fryer I’ve ever used. A well-deserved #1!

Honorable Mentions

Below are a couple of Honorable Mentions, which just missed my countdown due to technicalities.

Ninja Express Chop

Kicking off the Honorable Mentions is the Ninja Express Chop, and the only reason it didn’t make the official list is timing. It dropped on December 31, 2023, just hours shy of 2024 eligibility. While it may look like a standard electric chopper, don’t be fooled. This little powerhouse operates on a completely different level than other choppers I’ve tried. Need minced carrots? Done in 4 seconds. Chopped chicken? Just a few seconds more. It’s so blazingly fast that my demonstrations almost look like CGI. Easily one of my favorite products ever, this chopper is an essential part of my kitchen.

Hyperchiller

Rounding out my Honorable Mentions is my favorite members-only review of the year: the HyperChiller. While I don’t do a separate countdown for members-only videos, this product deserved some spotlight. After filling two chambers with water, the HyperChiller lives in my freezer, patiently waiting for my next iced coffee craving. When the moment strikes, I pour hot coffee straight from my coffee maker into the HyperChiller, and within minutes, I’ve got perfectly chilled iced coffee—no diluted mess, no fuss. I didn’t expect to use it much, but it’s become a staple in my routine. For coffee lovers, this is an unsung hero!

Here’s where I bought mine.

Just ordered the label maker. Cool device, and I have a ton of assorted remotes that I need to label, like my Christmas trees/lights, etc. Thanks!
