Liberty Lantern is a solar powered LED lantern and mobile device charger.

Liberty Lantern

As of late 2015, this is one of the older As Seen on TV products which still occasionally advertises online and on TV, even though it has been in stores for about two years.

The product is marketed as a lantern which also doubles as a mobile device charger, ideal for situations when power is lost and you need light and electricity.

Although on paper the product sounds great, it is generally thought that its promise was not fully realized by the end product. Described as cheap and inefficient, reviewers have generally panned this product, as evidenced by its 1.4 Amazon rating.

A few customers have said that it works as advertised, but this opinion is in the minority. If you’re set on using it, find one at a local retailers in the As Seen on TV (or even the Clearance) section. If it doesn’t work for you, it will be easier to return if purchased locally.
