Reviews

Magic Tracks is a flexible racetrack which features light-up cars. You simply snap the pieces together and adjust the track to whatever design you want. You can even adjust it while the cars are moving along the track. Below are a few notable pros and cons associated with the product.

Pros: In short, this As Seen on TV racetrack is an excellent toy that kids will love. Snapping together pieces is simple, and even young kids can get in on the fun. It only took me about 90 seconds to completely assemble the track. The glowing feature is designed to add extra enjoyment when used at night, as are the LED lights in the individual cars. The glowing feature probably looks best when used with a black light. In my test to see how long a new set of batteries would last (shown in the video below), the Magic Tracks car lasted over 8 continuous hours, which I feel is an acceptable amount of time.

Cons: You only receive a single car per set, and it requires batteries. Although snapping sections together is easy, it is also easy for them to fall apart or to create areas the cars cannot traverse, especially when creating ramps. To get enough track to feel sufficient, you’ll have to pay double shipping for their mandatory “double offer” which puts the price over $30. Look for Magic Tracks in stores in order to avoid these shipping costs. Finally, the glowing effect is minimal at best. As stated earlier, it would be ideal to use a black light to amplify this effect.

Perhaps the most notable detail about Magic Tracks is that it is essentially a knock-off of another product called Neo Tracks. That product is very highly rated, and sports a 4.5 star customer rating. It can also be purchased for less than Magic Tracks.

Overall, Magic Tracks is an excellent product, although it is a more expensive knockoff than Neo Tracks, which you may wan to consider before making your final purchase. I’m not impressed by the glow feature, but overall it works about as I expected.

Magic Tracks became a huge holiday hit in late 2016, so you can expect to see this item in stores for years to come.

Just recieved our magic tracks and love them. Neo tracks only provides 11 ft. for $24, this is 22 ft. for $36…and two cars not one.

I love Magic Tracks. Sometimes when you order on-line, then you are disappointed when you receive it. I bought this for the younger grandkids but my 10 year old grandson was testing it to see if it was as good as the commercial said He looked it. I also think there was pleanty of track. I have bought 2 more sets

I am disgusted with the customer service from Magic Tracks! I was more than excited to order this product online or my nephew (so much so I upgraded to the deluxe edition, ordered 2 sets and addition 2 pack of vehicles.) The bottom of the purchase page said 2-3 weeks delivery. Perfect! that was enough time to get it or his birthday mid November! So I waited…. and waited… and waited…. his birthday passed! Now I’m waiting for it or Christmas! I go online and I cant see my order at all! I called customer service and was told that… Read more »

Yeah that’s pretty bad! It’s hard to believe they’re on back order, when the product has been available in stores for some time now!

This company is a joke! Ordered the product more than a month before Christmas and the week before Christmas I need to call them to ask about the product which they then told me will not arrive by Christmas! This company is a cash grab simple and plain it won’t be around by next Christmas! Customer service is basically non existent! Save yourself money, time and frustration… buy something else!

There is no number on the box to call customer service .He got this as a gift. My son has epilepsy and apparently he cannot play with this toy we found out the hard way. Having to spend Christmas at a hospital. I do not recommend this toy for children who have seizures
