Olive Pan Review

Olive Pan (aka “Olive Oil Pan”) is advertised as a nonstick pan that is infused with olive oil. Its nonstick, nontoxic surface is said to offer grease-free cooking along with a durable construction that can handle whisking right in the pan.

Note: This item is new, and we are still researching this product, thus the information here is preliminary.

The pan’s surface is said to include “five layers of advanced technology,” although we aren’t told what these layers are.

The design, including the stainless steel bottom has a familiar feel that is also seen on popular competitors (see below). It isn’t clear what benefit an olive oil infused surface may bring, and we have not encountered any other pans making this claim. For that reason, it is difficult to ascertain whether or not the surface holds any advantage over other pans.

We have yet to see a nonstick pan that fully lives up to the advertising hype, and customers with realistic expectations are more likely to be satisfied with their purchase.

Olive Pan is a very new product, as its website was registered in August 2016 and went live in late September 2016. Because it is so new, you’ll want to exercise patience when ordering. It has been our experience that very new As Seen on TV products tend to take longer to ship than more established products.

When we get more information on Olive Pan, we will update this space.

Alternatives

We have seen our share of pans advertised on television in recent years. You may want to a few reviews of those products, including CeraPan, Gotham Steel, and Copper Chef.

The advertising for Olive Pan seems accurate when it states that it is a unique product, as we found no other pans which were said to be infused with olive oil.

If the olive oil feature is not compelling to you, then you may want to consider something like this T-fal Nonstick fry pan which is a #1 best seller and has a solid 4.4 star rating among thousands of consumers.
