Reviews

Skin tags are not the most enjoyable topic to discuss, nor are they the pleasant to have on your body. Despite the somewhat uncomfortable topic, a few As Seen on TV products over the years have attempted to tackle the ugly problem of skin tags. A few years ago, a product called Tag Away was advertised on television, but that was a chemical solution that was met with rather lukewarm reviews.

More recent solutions to skin tags are those which literally squeeze the life out of them, cutting off the blood supply, which allows them to harmlessly fall off.

Enter Tag Free, a small clear clamp which is attached to the base of the skin tag, then covered with a bandage. After a few days, the skin tag turns black and falls off. The process is straightforward and in most cases should work about as advertised. Their claim that it can work in as little as 48 hours should be denoted with an asterisk, however. These types of products may work in two days, or it could take seven.

Tag Free isn’t the only game in town, however. Another popular solution is a product called TagBand, which work like tiny rubber bands that are placed around the base of the skin tag. That product has relatively high ratings, although a minority of users have said it didn’t work. Another brand new competitor, which looks very similar to Tag Free, is Copper Tag Out. That is also a set of clamps which works the same as this product.

Tag Free should work for most people, although this type of skin tag solution will vary wildly among consumers.
